You are a Warrior Monk and its a lonely job. However, you can look in the mirror and know you did the right thing no matter how difficult. There are other places and people that appreciate your advocacy and beliefs. Keep going.
I just pulled my 7th grader out of a very similar Covid-crazy school. I did hear of one teacher (who contacted me anonymously on twitter after recognizing the school by something I posted) who had pushed back against the craziness like you. Sadly , he is also leaving the school. Thank you for trying your best to fight for our kids, I wish there were more like you.
You should find a few likeminded teachers and set up a proper school with no wokeness. I’m sure there is plenty demand even in stupid libtard cities. I know it’s easy to just say this but I really believe you could make it work.

But if I had children, I would pray to God every day that my children would be fortunate and have many teachers such as you. It seems these day, teachers like you have become quite rare.
There are so many young people today graduating without the first clue of how to engage in critical thinking, how to become solid citizens, or even men and women of integrity. Let alone proper grounding in science, literature, mathematics, or even basic life skills. I truly fear for our nation.

OMG! I can totally relate! As a Grandparent I was the one at home with the school aged kids who were “distance learning” in Leftest CA. It was a disgrace…I couldn’t convince my daughter to let me homeschool them. As they returned to classes in Fall 2021 they had to wear masks, but as of Spring they were freed of this…but surely if “cases” go up…Newsom will implement his totalitarian rule and Californians will tow the line. I was so frustrated at NOT BEING ABLE TO STEP ON SCHOOL GROUNDS! They were actually locked up and you had to call to be let in, or they would meet you outside! I’m so sorry that we did this to our kids….and I’m sorry for you losing your job. Maybe some enterprising Parents will hire you for a Homeschooling Pod. I’m at a loss as what to do to help our kids through this…will the mid-term elections make a difference?
I am sorry to hear loss of the job. I hope you have something much better. My wife was a teacher, I do not know how she would have fared. The Covid 19 thing caused her some fear although as I said elsewhere I saw through the BS early on.

I have a better slogan, "Wear a mask, wash your hands, sh1t your pants". Masks DO work creating a culture of germaphobia and extreme irrational fear.
